It may seem like a lot of work and hassle to buy a used tanning bed but you can really pick up a bargain if you do it right. first limit your search to a area you are willing to drive to pick up the bed. Some people are put off by the hygiene aspect- but this is nothing to worry about- i recommend you disinfect it totally before you use it.

My first transaction on EBay was for a used tanning bed. Keeping to my rules I searched within a 200 mile area, sent 3 or 4 emails to the seller asking whatever questions I could get from the tanning beds listed on EBay (this helped more then anything), I kept a close eye on the values others went for of the same specification i was looking for.

I worked out the cost of getting the bed to my area and stated biding. After winning I simply rented a hire van for £50 drove to the sellers house and inspected the tanning bed condition in terms of the connections, and bulbs etc. I then loaded the bed up and an hour later I was home with a £2000 tanning bed in first class as new condition that only cost me $£250! That was 10 years ago and the bed still works fine.
